  2. Lynnskie - these are great! You must be having a blast! That is truly the creepiest ear I've ever seen! How big are these pieces?

  3. Thanks John -- don't know what FB is other than facebook.

Thank you Anneskie! Your knowledge of art is so much more extensive than mine so it makes me very happy when you like something.

The pieces are slightly smaller than a real human head. Only they're not really pieces because what I have decided to do is take full advantage of clay (so mushy! so quick to work with! compared to steel, it's like lightning), and make them, photograph them, then smush them into something else. That's why I'm numbering the demons -- they transform. You know, kind of like erratic moods, which I thought I would research to learn more about since I am so terribly unfamiliar with them.

Anyway, I really need to learn how to take a clearer photo -- these are abysmal except for one of them, and if the photo is the only thing that lasts, well....

I might keep one if I get to a point where I feel the transformation has been useful, telling, rewarding -- you know what I mean I think.

  4. ...plus if I kept all of them it would be too expensive. They charged me another $14 to ship the 50 lbs of clay. Need to shop local, for sure.

  5. These are really great. Maybe it's just me, but the image at the top of the page has sort of a Richard Nixon crossed with WC Fields vibe.
