Collage 39?

QUESTION:  Is this collage complete?  Why?  What is sufficient as is or what does it lack?


.....by the way this is an actual question, not a "poetic"s statement.

    the sky and sea look a little lonely, but it seems pretty done, whatever that means

    Yes, you're right, Rose -- it's dense in the middle, both thing-wise and color-wise.

    I think the "lonelinesses" of the sea and sky wonderfully offset/frame the intense action taking place in the central zone, which expands subtly into those lonely places. I don't think it lacks anything.

    It feels complete to me also. I am really compelled by these collages. I've decided to do collage for a page in a collaborative book project. This largely has to do with your series.

    Deborah -- I'd love to see the collage page when you're done with it. Sometimes it is a great relief to make things that don't have any words, you know?
